Spanish I

Spanish I is the first of a two-part foreign language program offered as an elective to students of grade 11 and 9th and 10th grade Honors Students. Upon successful completion of this course, students will speak, read, write, and understand the modern language. Communications, cultures, comparisons, connections, and communities are addressed in the classroom to meet state standards. The program integrates the study of language with the study of culture, which includes daily life, history, literature, visual and performing arts, mathematics, and science in order to create a link to all other disciplines.

Spanish II

Spanish II is the second of a two-part foreign language program offered as an elective to students of grade 12 and 9th and 10th grade Honors Students who have successfully completed Spanish I. Upon successful completion of this course, students will speak, read, write, and understand this modern language. Communications, cultures, comparisons, connections, and communities are addressed in the classroom to meet state standards. The program integrates the study of language with the study of culture, which includes daily life, history, literature, visual and performing arts, mathematics, and science in order to create a link to all other disciplines.
