Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning

Too hot or too cold outside? You can live and work just about anywhere as a trained HVAC technician, improving the indoor climate with your skills. The Bristol-Plymouth program exposes students to the operation, design, installation and repair of heating and cooling units, including refrigerators, freezers, ice machines, furnaces and boilers.

Facilities

Modern facility with work stations where students can build a refrigerator and repair other HVAC equipment. Through the Cooperative Education Program, many seniors work in their chosen field with licensed journeymen.

Bring together students who like working with their hands and add in a good measure of physical dexterity and mechanical aptitude. Mix in an ability to understand how equipment operates and how to put things back together to create a great HVAC technician.

Career Highlights

Refrigeration, heating and air conditioning are necessities for almost all people. Technicians will always be needed to design, install and repair this equipment. Employment opportunities are vast, ranging from small service companies to industrial manufacturers. Graduates can work towards a refrigeration/heat license, or study engineering in college.
